How to Upload to Bitshare ? Numerous Ways to Manage Your Uploads

In this post, I will cover numerous ways to manage your uploads to Bitshare File Hosting Service with information for newbies. Bitshare.com is one of the popular file sharing service that is still used by many webmasters around. Both free & premium users are allowed to upload up to 2 gb file size.

Web Upload is the easiest way to upload files to your Bitshare account shortly and this way of upload is mostly preffered for small file size uploads. But Bitshare Web Upload has some drawbacks;

Single file upload:multiple file upload not supported which may be time consuming..
No resume support: in case of interruption, you can’t resume uploads

How to Upload Files to Bitshare Using Web-Upload

To upload files to your Bitshare account, simply go to homepage and click Browse Files then click Upload button. When upload is completed you will be given links to share your file.


How to Upload to Bitshare Using FTP Applications ?

A FTP Client provides more control for managing your uploads like limiting upload speed (useful for throtlling bandwith on shared internet), multiple file uploads and resume upload capability in case of interruption.

As my personal recommendation, FileZilla and Classic FTP are the best of two free FTP Client you can use. After installing your preferred FTP Client, please do following;

First get your FTP credentials provided you at Bitshare Homepage / FTP Upload tab as shown on the image below;

Then enter your login information to FTP Client as on the following image (screenshot from Classic FTP)

After logging in FTP Client, you can select multiple files and start your uplads. Once your uploads are completed, go to Bitshare.com and you have to move them manualy to your file manager navigating through Bitshare / My Files / FTP-Upload as shown on the image below..

You can also enable setting for automating trafferring of FTP Uploaded files to your Bitshare File Manager at My Settings / FTP Upload Settings


How to Upload to Bitshare Using Bitshare.com’s Official Desktop Tool ?

Bitshare Desktop Tool is specialized to manage your files without having to visiting Bitshare.com. You can use all features provided at Bitshare.com File Manager like delete, rename, create files & folders. Similar to FTP Upload, you can upload multiple files to your account with resume support.

How to Upload to Bitshare Using Remote Upload?

Remote upload is a feature provided by many of popular file host sites which allows downloading files from remote server, without user having to download files to their personal computer and upload to preferred file hosting.

The link you use in Bitshare Remote Upload section should be “directly” downloadable link:

  • either direct link like http://yoursite.com/directly-downloadable-file.rar
  • or login authentication required link like http://username:password@rapidshare.com/filename.rar
